QuitSugar
Privacy Policy
Effective September 4, 2026
The short version
QuitSugar does not require an account, show ads, track you, or send your craving history to Drift Apps. Your entries, streak, rescue plan, and learned craving patterns stay on your device.
Information stored on your device
To provide its features, QuitSugar stores information you enter or create in the app, including craving sessions and outcomes, planned-treat and unplanned-sugar entries, streak and history data, your personal rescue plan, onboarding choices, and reminder preferences. This information is stored locally on your device and in the shared app container used by the QuitSugar Home Screen widget.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, QuitSugar uses Apple’s local notification system to schedule them on your device. Reminder timing may be calculated from your locally stored craving pattern. Drift Apps does not receive your notification schedule or pattern data.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. QuitSugar uses StoreKit to read your purchase entitlement and restore purchases. Drift Apps does not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Data collection and tracking
QuitSugar does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Drift Apps does not collect data from the app and does not use app data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Deleting your data
You can delete entries from within QuitSugar. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to the normal behavior of your device backups. Purchase records remain with Apple so purchases can be restored.
Children
QuitSugar is not directed to children under 13, and Drift Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version and effective date will be posted on this page.
