DateMax Privacy Policy

What DateMax processes on your device

DateMax lets adults select their own dating-profile photos and screenshots. The free profile diagnostic, technical image measurements, screenshot text recognition, and local fallback guidance run on the device. Raw selected images are not saved with your DateMax history.

Optional private AI deep review

When private AI review is available, it is used only after you unlock the full profile rebuild and explicitly leave the in-app private-AI option enabled. DateMax then transmits compressed copies of the selected profile photos, profile text you supplied or extracted, the declared job of each photo, selected preferences such as desired outcome and writing voice, and non-identifying technical image measurements over an encrypted connection to the DateMax review service. The service sends this content to OpenAI's API to generate the requested structured report.

The DateMax service does not write the photos, request body, or generated report to a database and returns responses with caching disabled. Cloudflare uses transient network information to enforce short abuse rate limits before an AI request is made; DateMax does not write that information to its own database. Selected images are not stored in DateMax history. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days unless the DateMax API project qualifies for and enables an applicable reduced-retention control. Rare safety and legal exceptions may apply. You can turn private AI review off and keep the on-device diagnostic.

What DateMax stores

DateMax stores generated report text, scores, selected preferences, edited opener text, and purchase state locally on your device so results can be shown again. DateMax does not store the original selected photos or profile screenshots with that history. You can delete saved results in Settings.

Service providers and purchases

Cloudflare provides the request-only DateMax review endpoint. OpenAI provides the optional AI analysis. Apple processes in-app purchases. These providers process data under their own privacy terms and only for the functions described here.

No accounts, advertising, or sale of data

DateMax does not require an account, include an advertising SDK, sell personal data, or build advertising profiles from profile photos, screenshots, generated text, or purchase state.

User responsibility

Only submit photos and profile content that you own or have permission to process. Do not submit another person's dating profile without permission. DateMax does not publish content, access dating accounts, identify people, rate attractiveness, send messages, or guarantee matches.

Adults only

DateMax is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not use DateMax to analyse or write messages about minors.

Changes to this policy

Material changes to processing, retention, or providers will be reflected in this policy, the in-app disclosure, and the App Store privacy information before the changed version is released.
